Over the course of many years, thousands of Europeans have spent their vacations on Gran Canaria. It has become one of the most well known vacation destinations on this continent. People come to walk along Maspaloma’s beach, swim in the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy great dining and have wonderful time of not doing anything, but resting! But, our inner being, our soul, also carries a desire for its Creator. God, who has given us so many good things to enjoy, also has a longing to give us what we are longing for. We would like to present Him to you. Your holiday could mean something more than sun and beach!
We are The International Evangelical Tourist Church. We work in Southern Gran Canaria in Playa del Ingles, Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogán.

Playa del Inglés, Templo Ecuménico

In Playa del Ingles, known for its long sandy beach and desert, our services are held in Templo Ecumenico. The building itself is unique in both purpose and structure. Churches from many different countries use the building for services and concerts. The warm welcoming church window in the front has become a point of interest for many people and curiosity has brought many to get a closer look at this magnificent church building. We invite people from all different countries to come and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Puerto de Mogán

For a long time Puerto de Mogan was an unexploited small canarian village inhabited mostly by fishermen and their families. When they started to build hotels, along the seaside, they managed to keep it picturesque. By the port, you can see fancy yachts and sailboats, waiting for the right winds that’ll take them to West India, but the genuine fisher boats are still there too.

We are holding an international service in Hotel Cordial Playa in the small Chapel “La Eremita” in the hotel area.

Hike in the mountains

The volcanic eruptions have given the Canary Islands its character in great variety of both flora and fauna and have become a wonderful source of great experiences. To discover a tiny flower or to stand before the majestic mountains gives you unforgettable memories. Lately it has become more and more popular to exchange the sun and beach for a full day walk in the inner parts of the island. Our walks are about 7-10 km, and winds through trails, walked by aborigines, modern canaries and of course by tourists who wants to bring special memories from a different side of Gran Canaria, back to their homes.

The walk takes place on Tuesdays.
